Sharm El Sheikh is the city of peace, situated on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula on the coastal strip along the Red Sea. Nabq Bay is located in a beautiful location close to Sharm el Sheikh, in an ideal place for a peaceful holiday full of relaxation hours by the beach as well as standing out by the amazing views of Tiran Island and the Sinai Desert Mountains. Geographically in land topography minor undulations acquire greater significance. We have taken inspiration from the region where provides a sticking reference point in an otherwise landscape. Architecture design should be integrated with its surrounding environment and should reflect its culture in time, so we studied their typologies and architectural language to evolve it into innovative vanguard design with plenty of cultural heritage.
Our vision is seeking to create a unique and innovative educational community melting and integrating with the magnificent surrounding nature to improve its relationship with the area, allowing a better comprehension and view of the whole complex. The magical place will now be a whole new experience of the imagination in nature; the visitants will be able to experience underwater views from the oasis with a giant cluster of flower baskets to enlarge the vision and the experience. The project is imaginary tranquil Oasis raised over the charming city where you can escape the everyday noise, stress and dirt. The concept of the project is inspired by describing “Children in Educational Oasis as flowers in Giant Basket”, a flower that has the ability to rise above the beauty.
2- ARCHITECTURAL IDENTITY
Children as Flowers in Basket
Children are like flowers. We plant the seeds. We water them, nourish them and set them in the sunshine. We protect them from the elements as best we can. One day they bud, and when the bud finally opens, we see that one is a rose, one a tulip, one an iris, each bringing its own beauty to the landscape. As the parents’ job is to nourish and protect, but most important, it is to appreciate the beauty in every child.
Our concept is spinning and rotating “Flower Baskets”, Buildings are obviously shaped like giant baskets. Every ‘basket’ is a cluster of classrooms that each has their own private scene.
The school takes place both inside and outside this basket. The project is therefore not a containing box which houses one space, but a series of nearly hybrid spaces which will take children through the time and space of the development of the schools with the theme of “Children as Flowers in Basket”.
The oasis is fully enclosed and the separate elements of the plinth and the plateau are unified by a latticework geometrically patterned roof structure supported on treelike timber columns which spring from the base of the oasis floor, to create an innovative, ecological School, Their “Educational Oasis” proposal balanced luxurious space with meaningful design that promotes life and nature. The School is composed of a series of indoor and outdoor gardens, water features. The main space is an oasis covered by shades.“Educational Oasis” overlooking Standard golf course has breathtaking sea and Mountain View from all angles because it’s on an elevated hill In addition to that Sinai golf heights resort make it mainly full of greenery for all those nature lovers. The amazing scene of the spacious green area and golf course surrounded by sparkling lagoons and fascinating Mountains view with a living, breathing, active, adaptive environment; stimulated by the social interaction of pupils, and spotlighting the use and benefits of sustainable technology.
Family Educational Cells
The school is based on an innovative educational concept, to spatially define the ideal learning environment for modern everyday school life. These educational facilities are organized in so-called Cells, which are units each consisting of four classrooms, a project room and a team room for teachers. A shared area in front of the classrooms, the so-called market place, is used interactively. Based on the simple concept of avoiding exterior axial alignment, this market place can be fully furnished and used for teaching purposes. Each of these individual educational facilities consists of four cells. An exact spatial translation of this organizing principle led to a tree-like branching of individual educational facilities throughout the site, the branch originating in a synergistic hub comprising functions such as a dining room, gymnasium, triple sports center, multi-purpose hall and special teaching rooms. Resultant diverse meeting places enable children of all ages to learn from each other. Although individual parts of the school resemble one another, they are in no way equally structured or assembled, and no classroom looks alike. Mark individual groups within the school community.
